    Any member of the public may address the Authority for a period not to exceed three minutes on any item of interest not on the agenda within the jurisdiction of the Authority. The Authority will listen to all communication, but in compliance with the Brown Act, will not take any action on items that are not on the agenda.

    1. Fund Request to the Local Transportation Authority (LTA) – State Route 86 (Northbound) Border Patrol Checkpoint

      Staff presentation (5 Minutes)

      The ICTC Management Committee met on September 20, 2017 and forwards this item to the LTA Board for their review and approval after public comment, if any:
      1. Approve the allocation for funding needed in the amount of $1.3 Million for expansion of the SR 86 (Northbound) Border Patrol Checkpoint, from the LTA 5% Regional Highway Set-Aside from the Measure D allocations; and,
      2. Authorize the Executive Director to execute the necessary agreements between Caltrans, the Imperial County Local Transportation Authority, and Customs and Border Protection.
